Charming little Cabin nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains located along the old Virginia Creeper Train Route on the rural banks of Big Horse Creek, a rushing Trout stream. This cozy little cabin sleeps 4, with 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, a pull out sleeper sofa, a full kitchen with all the amenities. There is a living room where guests can relax, read a book or take a nap in the recliner. The cabin has a wrap around deck and a large table for outside dining. Guest(s) sit outside on the screened in porch and can relax, enjoy the fresh mountain air, and take in the waterfront views and sounds of rushing currents as they pass by. There is a grill for cooking out, a Hot Tub to soak away stress, and there is a Fire Pit for those who wish to build camp fire after dinner along the creek. For the kids the cabin has Satellite TV, a VCR with plenty of old classic movies. For fishing enthusiasts, Big Horse Creek is a NC State stocked Trout Stream. You can practically cast your fly rod from off the wrap around deck. Creekside Serenity is located within 20 minutes of the world famous historic Shatley Springs Family Style Restaurant, downtown West Jefferson, home of North Carolina's only Cheese Plant and many Antique Stores and Art Galleries. Also just a short drive further, visitors can take in the beautiful Churches of the Frescos, Blue Ridge Dinner Theater, Mount Jefferson State Park, Ashe County Court House Museum, Tweetsie Railroad, Mystery Hill, or shop the outlet stores in Boone, NC, drive the Blue Ridge Parkway, or canoe the New River Just to name a few things a traveler can find to do here during their stay.

Summary: What a lovey cabin and location! So peaceful and beautiful on the creek. The owners do an awesome job of providing amenities. The outdoor areas - fire pit, gazebo, and porches are all wonderful. The cabin is decorated so well. A great place to unwind and relax. This trip we traveled to nearby Grayson Highlands State Park for a very pleasant day of hiking, picnicking, seeing the wild ponies and enjoying the beautiful scenery of the Blue Ridge Mountains.Love this cabin and its location!

Summary: The cabin was very comfortable and clean. The appliances were exceptional. The hot tub was fabulous and located on the back porch overlooking the water. Listening to the stream was so relaxing, especially while napping in the bedroom. It will certainly be a new get-away place for us.

Summary: Love the brook which is directly off the wrapped porch. Hot tub a definite plus! Very cozy and a real cabin feel. Decorated well. Screened in porch is awesome! Mattress is a little hard and bed frame squeaks some so that may bring back memories. lol. A gazebo which is very nice. We hope to definitely visit again!

Summary: This was our third time staying at this cabin and we absolutely love it! It's quiet and peaceful and you can hear the sounds of the creek from the bedroom. We spent a lot of time in the hot tub and it was nice to be able to have our dog hang out on the wrap-around porch while we were relaxing (there is a gate on the porch to keep him near us). The only slight negative was that the gas grill wasn't working - but we didn't even bother mentioning it to the owners since there was also a charcoal grill available. This has been our favorite place to vacation for years, but this year it became even more special when my boyfriend proposed to me right next to the creek. Now it's an even more special place and we will definitely be back!
